For Youth and Children - Today the increase in youth obesity and related disorders is a national focus. Our experience gives us the opportunity to contribute to this campaign. We are focused on reducing the “obesity” trend of today’s youth through nutritionally balanced and appetizing meals, as well as customized menus. We realize that unless our youth participate in the food service program, they will not benefit from the healthy menus. To do this, we must have items on the menu that are appealing and nutritious.
- Centralize services to improve cost and quality control
- More fresh food - including salads and salad bars
- Customize menus to reflect the individual tastes of specific ethnic and age groups
- Adding an educational component for healthy menus, supported by our Registered Dietitian
